Today is the last official day of Summer, I believe. I have to admit, up until yesterday I was not ready to give up the beautiful summer weather - but yesterday, it was almost as if a switch went off in the Midwest! As I traveled home from a lovely wedding in a Chicago suburb, I started to see the effects of Fall upon us! I noticed the leaves beginning to change and the air felt a bit crisper!

Last night I began brainstorming and searching for some new Fall Front Door Decor! A front door says a lot about a home and even more about who lives within that beautiful home! We're blessed to have a beautiful original hard wood Front Door on our 1910 Brick Arts & Crafts style home, the color scheme that Fall presents is perfect for our home and each year I find myself searching high and low for the perfect wreath for the entry into our home.

This one is a unique takeoff on a wreath - with a mirror as the main focus. . .sort of different!

.I'm in love with this set- up and will likely follow suit with the corn stalks, hay, gourds, pumpkins, and a lovely wreath. . .

.This next one mimics our front door - not the set up or the green, but the actual door is very similar to what we have on our home currently! I love love love the green accents with the house and the door decor. . .this is a house that I'd want to visit!

.These double doors are beautiful - I'm not sure how I feel about the turkeys in the wreaths, but the doors are beautiful none-the-less!

Currently I have a bittersweet wreath on my door. . .I'm adoring it for the moment, but will be on the hunt this weekend! Have a wonderful Monday. . .
I just adore the fall. We have a new knocker on our door that I just adore. so no wreath for me this year:)
ReplyDeleteWhy not just make one with all that creativity? YOU ARE CREATIVE!!! ...Visit Joann's, Hobby Lobby, or Michaels...they always have neat stuff.... I made mine this year...and I love it! I am going to do the same for Christmas!

ReplyDeleteOn the last picture, you can see that the decoration fits the color of the door, and the season, and it looks pretty calm. Also, you gotta love the look on how the seasons changes overtime, and how it gives you more reasons to decorate your home to suit it.
