So as many of you have noticed I have not blogged for one straight month and 3 whole days. . .I took a sabbatical of sorts. I started a new job, that basically sucked the life out of my little brain and left no room for creativity for a few weeks. Don't get me wrong, I L.O.V.E my new job and am so blessed to have been offered this new position within my company, I have simply been a little worn out with trying to learn all of the new material!

Secondly, I have been traveling like a mad woman! No kidding - I traveled to Boston, Chicago, Tampa, Los Angeles, Palm Springs , Lexington and Northern Michigan all within 5.5 weeks.
.
Next, I received a really cool new "tablet" (ie, fancy name for a crazy laptop and came with the new 'glam' job) that does not allow me to import pictures as I used to - which makes life a bit more complicated for an avid blogger like myself!
.
If you must know. . . I basically was snubbing my beloved blog. . . because I was simply too busy.

Throughout this time, I've learned that blogging is one of those things that makes me happy. . .so we can all be assured I won't take another "break" from my blog! (that's assuming you all 'really' care!)

The good news is that during this short hiatus from my beloved blog - I did find time to stumble upon plenty of things that I find inspiring! The good news is also that I now have TONS of great things to blog about and now that I'm back on track you all will be hearing and seeing them shortly!

The first weekend in May I attended Leslie and Adam's wedding. It took place downtown Cincinnati, Ohio at the famous "Hall of Mirrors" - it was wonderful and the details, my goodness, were there details. LOVELY!! (Leslie is 'Sweetbride' for those of you that follow her!) I will be sharing more soon, but for now - just look at how happy she is, literally glowing. . . L.O.V.E it!!

.These are the great clutches that Leslie gave her sweet bridesmaids, each had an intricate broach that was fit perfectly for that particular lady. What a nice touch. . .and cute too!

.One of my bridesmaids and good friends, Gretchen, was also in Leslie's bridal party - nothing makes me happier than seeing good friends! Oh and I loved my dress too - its from Anthro - its up for borrowing, call if interested! Its on its way to Denver as we speak. . .

.We had a nice little visit out to Manhattan Beach, California for a few days prior to my girlfriend, Sara's wedding in Palm Springs. I lived in this area following college so Ben and I took a couple days and revisited all of the 'hotspots' that we loved in this area, years ago!

.We then drove from LA to Palm Springs to attend Sara and Sean's wedding in La Quinta, California! This was a wedding to remember and we were so glad to be there to celebrate with these two favorite friends! Check out this shot of the wedding party at the lovely resort we stayed at. . . We spent Memorial Day Weekend Up North with my parents, my sister, her beau and a few of our favorite people. Pictured below in our sweatshirts are two of my favorite people - my sweet sissy, Sarah, and my almost-brother, Ryan! (Ryan grew up spending his summer months with us in Northern Michigan - We love him like a brother!)
