Daily Inspiration: These Boots are Made for Walking. . .

This weekend I spent a few days with one of my favorite groups of girlfriends, in Austin, Texas! We actually stayed outside of town at my girlfriends mothers home. Our trips are always the perfect combination of catching up, relaxing, getting cute and dancing, eating delicious food, lots of wine and making plenty of memories! This trip was no different and it was just what the doctor ordered for each of us. . .

Each year we gather in another new town, generally at a town where one of us resides or where we can at least host. In true fashion, Carolyn, this years host, was fabulous! She had every detail planned from pick up times at the airport, to a comedy show at downtown's famed nightspot Esther's Follies, to some fantastic vintage shopping on quaint and eclectic South Congress Street.

During our visit one we ventured into a truly Texas store, called Allen's Boots. This store had just about every pair of fantastic cowboy boots that you could imagine. One of the gals (Jessica from underagreenroof) was on a mission to find some monogrammed boots, she saw a few pairs at the Alabama vs. Texas game this year! Although she didn't end up with a pair in her suitcase for the plane ride home, she certainly has her eyes set on a few choice pairs that she'll be searching high and low for online!
